God supposedly deliberately designed and manufactured animals to grow old and die. Inbuilt planned obsolescence in a living feeling sentient being is not love in my book.

Animals
by unsure inif humans have to suffer to have free will and to disprove satan's challenge to god as mentioned in the bible...then why the f*ck do animals have to suffer as well?
.
satan's challenge involved humans and not poor animals.. i'm looking for an honest explanation from believers.. at this point, the older i get, the less i believe in a god who is "love"..

Did you enjoy your visit to Bethel?
by Addison0998 ini recently had to take a trip with my family to bethel.
it was a bit torturous for a secret apostate as you can imagine.
but mostly just so boring.

The highlight of our tour was seeing a feather cleaning machine for their pillows. They actually rip open the pillows, deposit the feathers into the machine and then decant them back into an empty clean pillow case.

Where do Christians,Muslims and Jews think/believe Heaven is ?
by smiddy3 inin this 21st century with so many nations involved in space exploration sending satellite`s out into the far reaching` s of the universe and none have detected anything resembling what could be described as a heaven ,i`m just wondering how these 3 major religions that base their beliefs on sections of the bible would/could answer this question.?.
not only have these many satellites been deployed to various parts of our solar system but at least a couple have even ventured out of our solar system into deep space .. and none have encountered a heaven of any description.. your thoughts ?.

From my increasingly failing memory I seem to recall being told Jehovah keeps his congregation clean.
I know he never has or else paedophiles would never make it to baptism let alone make elder status but when did the gb stop reassuring members all was well and all the talk of paedophiles were apostate lies?

What Are The Differences Between JWs Born In and Converted?
by minimus ini tend to think that many jws who joined the religion in their later years feel foolish or are embarrassed by their decision to become one of jehovah’s witnesses.
.
i’m not embarrassed by my years “in the truth “ because i was raised from infancy to believe everything was god’s word and who are we to question jehovah and his organization?

I joined as a depressed and struggling single Mum and they convinced me God never intended for life to be so hard and all wickedness was going to end soon. Probably and most likely before my little girl even started school it was going to happen that soon.
My little girl not only started school, she left school got married had 2 children of her own and is now a grandmother!
That struggling single mum who was never going to grow old is now a great grandmother. It took me 30 years to realize God wasnt coming.

Bible's flaws
by LostAdam inwhat are some flaws of the bible that convince you that its not god's word.
for example what about prophecies like babylon or prophecies about jesus birth and life that jw use to make you believe bible is god originated?
i'd appreciate your comments.

Once upon a time is a great way to start a fairy story but in the beginning works just as well.

Is the Sell-off of Kingdom Halls Just a Cyclical Process
by RubaDub inwith more and more kh's being sold off, will it only be a matter of time that there will be a push to build new ones?
greater emphasis on donating to build new kh's since some brothers have to drive long distances to attend meetings?
and that smaller communities should have a local kh that is visible to all in the area?.

In the 90s Waterlooville congregation split into 2 and we became Horndean congregation and shared their hall. 10 years later we were able to purchase land 3 miles away in Horndean on some industrial land. A further 10 years on and the Waterlooville hall was sold and they now share with Horndean.
In 2003 the English speaking congregation in Fuerteventura which was sharing with the Spanish speaking congregation bought an old pizza parlour and converted it to a KH. Ten years later it was sold and they rejoined the Spanish hall again.
It's been going on for years. It's not new.

It was crooked elders helped me wake up.
So much for Jehovah keeping his congregation clean....or Holy Spirit can be fooled year after year after year..
